What to Expect From Brown & Brown's Q2 2025 Earnings Report

Daytona Beach, Florida-based Brown & Brown, Inc. (BRO) markets and sells insurance products and services in the United States and internationally. With a market cap of $31.2 billion, the company operates through four segments: Retail, Programs, Wholesale Brokerage, and Services. The insurance company is poised to report its fiscal 2025 Q2 earnings on Monday, July 28, after the market closes.

Ahead of this event, analysts expect the company to report a profit of $0.99 per share, up 6.5% from $0.93 per share in the year-ago quarter. The company has surpassed the Street’s bottom-line projections in three of the past four quarters, while missing on occasion.

For fiscal 2025, analysts expect BRO to report a profit of $4.18, up 8.9% from $3.84 in fiscal 2024. Furthermore, its EPS is expected to grow 10.1% year over year to $4.60 in fiscal 2026.

BRO stock declined marginally following the release of its Q1 earnings on Apr. 28. The company reported a revenue of $1.4 billion for the period, which successfully met Street’s forecasts. Moreover, its adjusted earnings for the quarter came in at $1.29, failing to meet the consensus estimates

Wall Street analysts are somewhat bullish about BRO’s stock, with a "Moderate Buy" rating overall. Among 16 analysts covering the stock, five recommend "Strong Buy," one suggests a “Moderate Buy,” nine suggest a “Hold,” and one suggests “Moderate Sell.” BRO’s average analyst price target of $120.85 indicates a potential upside of 12.1% from the current levels.
